BRIDES OF DRACULA & EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN TO UK DVD
DVD News 16.08.
07

Coming to the home entertainment format for the first time in the UK this October are two highly sought after Hammer classics, The Brides of Dracula and The Evil of Frankenstein.

Previously the films have only been able to purchase on import, and both are currently featured on the no-frills Hammer Horror Series boxset from Universal in the US. This will be the first time that either film has been available in an English-speaking region as an individual disc.

We've been sent the cover art for each title, which is published below. At the time of writing possible extras have not been confirmed, but here at unofficialhammerfilms.com we have been advised that each film will feature a cleaned-up print and a theatrical trailer as a minimum. There may also be a gallery and a booklet. Fans may like to voice their thoughts by emailing us at hammer@avalard.com.

The dvds are currently scheduled for release on 22nd October, by dvd newcomer Showbox Entertainment with an RRP of £12.99. They will be Pal encoded, although region coding has not yet been confirmed.

As soon as major online retailers include the titles in their pre-orders we will post links on the front page of the site, and on this page.
